2014 was a great year for The WWE. John Cena won his 15th world title at Money in the Back, Brock Lesnar conquered The Undertaker’s 21-0 streak at WrestleMania, and Sting made his debut in a WWE ring at Survivor Series. While all these things made a great year for WWE fans, here are five things that need to happen in 2015 to make this year just as great.
AJ Lee Needs to feud
with Stephanie McMahon: I have said this countless times, and still The WWE will give
this feud the green light. The two met briefly, after Lee won The Divas title
from Kaitlyn back in 2012, and the segment was one of the most talked about
subjects on twitter. That night.
Lee has become a three time Divas champion, defended the title
successfully at WrestleMania 31, and has beaten almost every diva on The WWE
roster once or twice. There is not much more for The Geek Goddess to accomplish
inside the squared circle, making this feud even more of a must see, before
Mrs. Brooks hangs up her Chuck Taylors for good.
The WWE Needs to Create
a Divas Tag Team Title.
Speaking of The Divas Division, they need more than five minutes
of air time on Raw and Smackdown, and something more to fight for then just The
Divas Title. The WWE is turning more and more of their efforts towards The
Total Divas Reality Show, then promoting these phenomenal female athletes,
Making Divas matches little more than bathroom breaks between higher profile
matches.
The remedy for this, is to introduce more reasons for The Divas to
have more airtime on a weekly basis. A Divas Tag Team title would not only
accomplish this, but would also allow more divas on TV on the same tame. This would also allow less experienced
Divas a chance to work with more developed talent on the roster in a tag team. The WWE could even create some very
interesting pairings with the tag teams, like Summer Rae and Natayla, or Paige
and AJ Lee.
This
wouldn’t be a fix all solution for The Divas division, but would definitely
start to help fans take the division more seriously as a while.Seth Rollins Shouldn’t Hold the WWE World Heavyweight Title
I know everyone wants to see Roman Reigns defeat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31, only to lose the title to Seth Rollins seconds later, but what sense does that make? Why build up Roman Reigns over the next few months, with feuds against Big Show and other members of The Authority, only to have him lose the title to his old Shield brethren right after the match.
While The WWE did do this storyline before with Daniel Bryan at The 2013 edition of Summerslam, the recipient of title, was a seasoned veteran of The WWE, not just some rookie. If The WWE wants the belt on someone else, do it at the next pay per view, but don’t put it on someone who is even less ready to run with the company’s top prize.
Induct Conner” The
Crusher” Mitchalek into the WWE Hall of Fame.
This
is just one of those stories that break your heart to pieces. 7 year old brain cancer patient, Conner
Mitchalek, was a huge Daniel Bryan fan, and even got to meet his hero one
night, when Monday Night Raw came to Pittsburgh. The highlight of Conner’s
night being, when he made his hero tap out to The Yes Lock later that night.
Conner
was invited backstage once again, a week before WrestleMania 31, where Conner”
The Crusher” got the chance to land a K.O punch on Triple H and pin him right
in front of his hero. Conner unfortunately, Conner passed away after a long
battle with Cancer a few weeks after watching his hero capture The WWE World
Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 31.
Since
Conner’s unfortunate passing, the internet has been buzzing with petition
campaigns to induct him into The WWE Hall of Fame. The WWE needs to do this,
and furthermore, needs to create a wing in the Hall of Fame for young fans with
similar circumstances, like Conner’s.
Just
by watching one of Conner’s tribute videos on YouTube or Facebook, you will
realize how much this young boy loved The WWE with all his heart, regardless of
who won, who lost or who walked out with
the title, The WWE is what Conner loved and cared about. Now ask yourself, with
all the fans that complain about title shots, superstars getting buried, and
who’s headlining WrestleMania, it is certainly a rare treat to see that one
fan, that just wanted to meet the hero’s he watched on TV throughout his young
life. Please if you have just one moment to sign this petition for Conner the Crusher Mitchalek, I strongly urge you to do so. Even if this petition doesn’t reach the ranks of The WWE brass, I think the parents of this special little boy, would be honored to see so many people coming together and trying to induct their little boy into The Hall of Fame. The link to sign the petition is here. And The Facebook page to join is here.
Daniel Bryan Needs To Take on The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31
The Yes Movement may still livid about The Royal Rumble Pay per view, but The WWE has many options at their disposal to remedy this situation. 1. They could put Daniel Bryan in WrestleMania 31 main event, alongside Lesnar and Reigns, or two, The WWE can put Daniel Bryan one on one against The Dead Man at WrestleMania 31.
With The Undertaker’s streak no longer a factor, and The Yes Movement in need of some kind of justice, after Bryan was eliminated early from The Royal Rumble, this match seems like the best option for Daniel Bryan. The match would also be a great way for Undertaker to pass to the torch to the next generation of superstars as well.
Just imagine what a win against The Undertaker would do for the career of Daniel Bryan! The win would seemingly put him on the same level as John Cena, Randy Orton, and other veterans of The WWE.
Not only would this be a career defining match, for Bryan, this would also be a great way to build him up for his eventual title rematch later this year. The WWE needs to continue to push Bryan, and wait for just the right moment to reinsert him into the title picture once again.
In the end, The WWE knows The Yes Movement is angry that Daniel Bryan will not be in the main event at WrestleMania 31, but a match against one of the company’s biggest legends, would be great medicine for those angry fans in The WWE Universe, especially if Bryan was able to come out on top against The Undertaker.
