If your like me, you only want to see one man holding The WWE World Heavyweight title after Sunday nights main event at WrestleMania. Now, whether The WWE Universe will get what it has long awaited, is a vastly different story. Maybe "The Animal," Batista, (Nicknamed "Bootista" by fans), is destined to hold the coveted titles above his head come Sunday, or maybe its just in the contract he signed when he agreed to come back.
Either way, I think it would be fun to play God for a minute ( don't tell God he'll get mad!) and discuss 5 things that In my opinion, should happen at The Show of Shows this Sunday. Obviously I don't speak for everyone, so your opinion may be vastly different from mine. If so, Please let me know in the comments below!
5 AJ Lee needs to retain The Divas Title: At this point, Aj Lee is above The Divas title, but it would be in The WWE's best interest to keep Ms. Lee happy. Lets face it, a WWE without AJ Lee, isn't a good WWE at all. The loss would kill The Divas Division entirely (if Total Divas hasn't done that already), and we will be forced to watch more subpar Divas matches, until a new AJ can be found. Of course Paige will probably take AJ Lee's place if she decides to leave, but how many fans will The Geek Goddess take with her before its all over?
4 Bray Wyatt has to beat John Cena: Your time is up, my time is now. Maybe John Cena needs to take his own advice and get the hell out of the young talents way! Now before you all berate me for saying that, I am a huge John Cena fan, but I also understand that its time to put some other talent over. Bray Wyatt has the gimmick and the athleticism to be a main event villain. Its just a matter of time. He most likely wont win the gold on his first try at the top, but he is definitely a solid champion in the making. With that being said, what better way to cement this champion in the makings career, then to have him defeat the most consistent superstar in the last decade of WWE? John Cena has already put over the likes of Daniel Bryan at last years Summerslam, and look what that did to his career! Cena did the same for CM Punk back at Money In The Bank a few years back, and he was a dominant force in the WWE ever since! John Cena has stated many times that all change will come through him. Well, I guess that means the door is open, its time for Bray Wyatt to walk through it.
3. The Streak Should end!: I know that is a bold statement, but The WWE couldn't be anymore predictable with this storyline. The same thing happens every year! They build up one of the WWE superstars to astronomical heights. Have him defeat usually dominate superstars in squash matches, then get all on their high horse about how their going to "End The Streak." The superstar gives The WWE Universe reasonable doubt about if The Dead Man can rise once again and defeat his opponent, and lastly, Taker comes out of nowhere at the end of the match to keep the streak intact. I love the streak. I love how long it has lasted, but if the writers at WWE cant find new ways to make the streak storyline more interesting, then they need to just end the streak entirely. That, or just have The Dead man retire with the streak intact.
2. Dolph Ziggler needs to win The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal: WWE has really dropped the ball on the grade A talent. I am so tired of seeing superstars like Ziggler being mistreated and little being done with them. He's got the move set, he gets the reaction from The WWE Universe, he's got the microphone skills. What else does the WWE need to push this guy? Ziggler has done virtually nothing since losing the World Heavyweight title back in 2013, and is in need of a good push. The Battle Royal would be a huge fix for Ziggler, who's last significant storyline, was teaming with Kaitlyn against AJ Lee and Big E. Langston. The win would allow Ziggler to start gaining confidence, and give him a reason to brag. The bragging could launch him towards a title run. Maybe not The big title, but at least another United States Title run. Hopefully big things will happen, if Ziggler wins the match come Sunday, but more importantly, The WWE just needs to do something with him!
1. Daniel Bryan winning The WWE World Heavyweight Title: every big event has its moment that every fan wants to see. At WrestleMania 20, it was Christ Beniot finally holding the coveted World Heavyweight Title above his head, after defeating both Triple H and Shawn Michaels. At WrestleMania 21 it was watching John Cena defeat JBL for his first major title, and finally, at WrestleMania 30, it will be watching Daniel Bryan win The WWE World Heavyweight title! Lets be honest, If by some miracle, Daniel Bryan doesn't walk out of New Orleans as Champion, The IWC will be in a complete uproar. Imagine the reaction after Batista won the Royal Rumble back in January, but ten times greater! Fans would be boycotting The WWE. There would be waves of YouTube videos with adults saying they refuse to watch WWE anymore. Some people will start to only watch TNA. Anyone else winning on Sunday spells doomsday for The WWE. so please WWE, for the first time since Summerslam last year. Please get it right! Put the title on the man that the fans want as WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
