The Rock Will Return at WrestleMania 31: There are just too many enticing possibilities for this prediction not to be true. The rock's last appearance on WWE TV, was when he confronted Rusev, and then rock bottomed him to end out the segment. Rock versus Rusev would be a great match to help build the career of the young Russian, but with The Rocks injury at WrestleMania 29, it would seem unlikely that he would be able to have a blockbuster match with Rusev. Another option would be Triple H. Triple H and The rock hinted at having one more match, during a taped segment on a special edition of Friday Night Smackdown. The two superstars argued throughout the segment backstage over who beat who during their many encounters over their careers. This would be a more realistic option for The Rock and would be made even better if it had a retirement stipulation to it. Seeing these two battle it out one more time at the show of shows will definitely be a nostalgia trip for fans of The Attitude era.
AJ Lee will not leave WWE in 2015: Call me crazy, but I think AJ Lee has a lot more to accomplish before she hangs up her Chuck Taylors for good. The Geek Goddess is only one win away from having the most Divas title reigns in the history of the company, she is one of the only consistent bright spots in a division of unestablished talent, and there are still so many possibilities storyline wise for her. Another sign that AJ Lee is in no rush to leave The WWE, was Punk's interview with Michael Landsberg, stating that "him and AJ Lee having separate careers have made their relationship stronger."
Seth Rollins will fail to cash in his Money In The Back Contract: Seth Rollins in many things, but the future isn't one of them. He does have a great ability as a heel, and can really get under fans skin when he wants to. The only problem is, he's just not someone The WWE will want at the top right now. He looks too much like the scrappy underdog, not a cocky heel capable of holding the companies top prize. Beyond not looking the part, his move set is entirely too risky for The WWE to invest long term in. We all saw what happened when WWE gave Daniel Bryan a run with the belt, and they don't want to have to deal with a issue like that again. I asked my source, Dave Boddy, what he believed would be the result of a Seth Rollins cash in, and he had this to say" A) HHH will actually cost Rollins the match...B) he will win, and then lose it ASAP. " I acknowledge Rollins will have a great future in WWE ahead of him, but 2015 just wont be his year.
Dolph Ziggler will not be in the title picture: He may be the sole survivor for Team Cena at Survivor Series and the current IC Champion, but don't expect a run with the big belt for Ziggler in 2015. WWE already has its pick for the top spots next year, and it doesn't look like Ziggler is going to be one of them. I realize that being the sole survivor for Team Cena is a huge accomplishment in Ziggler's career, but in truth, it wasn't even a clean finish! Sting interfered and helped Ziggler get the win. As for having The IC Title, he is the measuring stick of the midland. His reigns as Champion are mostly to help other superstars look good by beating The Showoff. Dave Boddy has a interesting take on this prediction stating, "Ziggler is stuck in the position where's he is at for awhile. The top three workers right now that will likely get a shot are: Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Dean Ambrose."
John Cena will not hold The WWE World Heavyweight title in 2015: What if we lived in a world where John Cena didn't hold the companies biggest prize for a entire year? Its happened twice actually. Once in 2006 when Cena had to vacate the title due to a torn pectoral muscle. He didn't win the belt back until September 19th 2009, when he won it in a I quit match" against Randy Orton. The second time was, was during CM Punk's 343 day title reign, Cena eventually did win the title a year and a half later though in a rematch with The Rock at WrestleMania 29. The problem isn't that The WWE will be tired of Cena on top in 2015, but that their are a abundance of other stars clamoring and ready to take the top spot. Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton all comes to mind as candidates. I'm not saying that Cena will not be in the title picture, I just don't think The WWE will benefit from him holding the title in 2015
